Welcome to the Department of Physics!

To make sure that everybody working with lasers in our laboratories knows how laser safety is organized and is familiar with the basic rules of laser safety, new employees should work through this brief online introduction to laser safety within the first two weeks in the lab.

This will take about 15–30 minutes depending on your familiarity with the subject.

Follow the arrows at the bottom of each page. At the end of it, you will be asked to answer a few questions. If you pass the test, you will be able to print a confirmation. Signed by you, it will document that you have received the necessary laser safety information, as required by law.
